Lovely stay, but the decor could do with a refresh. Breakfast was a bit basic, not much variety. Loved the comfy bed and the friendly service though, sweet as!

A cozy hideaway in Lancaster
The cute hosts, providing helpful local tips and ensuring a comfortable atmosphere. The self-service breakfast had a good variety, perfect to start the day.
The Wi-Fi was sometimes slow, and parking can be hit or miss, but the hosts made an effort to assist wherever they could.

The rooms were en suite, airy, came with bottled water always available to help oneself and hot drinks. The location was magnificent and absolutely perfect there, back by the river.
There were a bit lumpy beds.

Perfect spot for a mini-break in Lancaster with really good value for money. The friendly host even helped me with gluten-free options at breakfast. Keep in mind it's a bit of a hike to reach the main attractions.

missingWrote a review on 12 Julairy roomsfluffy towelsoutdated decor
Bright, airy rooms with light-coloured walls create an inviting space. The bedroom offers a decent array of toiletries and fluffy towels.
The room felt outdated, with dark walls and a stained carpet. Heating issues plagued the stay, requiring a hairdryer for warmth, and the breakfast options fell short of expectations. Only a basic continental spread available. The location is a trek to the main town, about a 28-minute walk, or you're left waiting for an unreliable bus.

Comfortable stay with a cozy atmosphere
The bed was super comfortable, and I really appreciated the wide selection of cereals and fresh fruit for breakfast. Although the Wi-Fi could have been faster, I found the overall experience to be fantastic for the price!

I loved my stay, especially enjoying the all-day snacks and the cozy lounge for chilling out with a book. The room had a comfy bed and fresh fruit waiting for me. Breakfast was surprisingly good with tons of choices. The only downside was a bit of noise from the street, but it didn't ruin my visit at all! 😊

The lounge area and having coffee in the room was a real treat. The location was convenient and peaceful, right by the heart of Lancaster, the canal, and the city center.- Half Moon Bay, where I had lunch/dinner, was just a leisurely walk from the hotel.
